It’s quite amazing how the internet and the latest online technologies are able to bring such huge amount of advantages into our lives. GAME PLAY: Legal vs. Illegal Shots

What’s a legal shot? What’s an illegal shot? The following are the rules that constitute a legal and an illegal shot.

Legal Shot:

• In a legal shot, the shooter should hit a ball that belongs to his group of balls before the 8-ball is struck.
• It would be considered legal to have the cue ball make contact with a rail before you strike a ball in your group.

Illegal Shot:

• A shot is considered to be illegal if you happen to pocket the cue ball. This is what you call a scratch.
• It’s also an illegal shot if the cue ball happen to strike the 8-ball first, unless of course if it’s the only legal shot
• It would be illegal also if the cue ball happen to strike one of your opponent’s balls first
• It’s an illegal shot if the cue ball was not able to strike a legal object ball
